Countdown to June 22, 2013: T-12 weeks!
We are very happy to announce that Emma Pooley, a former world champion and Olympic medalist is participating in the first SWISSMAN!
Emma started her sports career as a triathlete and cross-country runner and took up road racing in 2005 after a surprise 4th place in the national road championship. Among many victories, Emma won silver at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and was the 2010 time-trial world champion.
We are extremely happy that Emma is eager to take the challenge of SWISSMAN and was captured by this event thanks to its beautiful route, and also the friendly atmosphere, simplicity and sportive spirit. We wish her all the best for her preparation and the finish of her PhD and are excitedly looking forward to June 22.
